Seasonal Holiday Lighting Installer
đź“Ť Location: La Palma, CA (In-Person + Travel to Job Sites)
đź’˛ Pay $27.16 per hour (based on experience)
đź•’ Schedule: 30–60+ hours/week | Multiple Shifts Available
The Role: We’re hiring Installers to help bring our holiday displays to life. This is a hands-on, physical role working outdoors with a crew to assemble and install lighting and décor at commercial job sites.

Installs are commercial properties only – no residential. We offer a rolling start date and begin as early as September. Shift opportunities continue thru mid-January to complete installation removals.
About St. Nick’s Christmas Lighting & Décor: For over 20 years, St. Nick’s has created large-scale holiday displays for cities, shopping centers, airports, casinos, and commercial properties across the country. We take pride in delivering high-quality, visually impactful installations—and we’re looking for team members who want to be part of that. What You’ll Do • Install holiday lighting and décor including: • C9, LED, and RGB lighting • Wreaths, garlands, and large-scale bows • Pole and frame trees • Walk-through ornaments, archways, and display structures • Assist with pole banner installations and tree wrapping (including palm trees) • Safely work on ladders, rooftops, and aerial lifts • Load, transport, and handle materials and equipment responsibly • Follow detailed work orders and installation plans • Ensure all installs are secure, safe, and meet company quality standards • Maintain a clean and organized job site • Communicate effectively with your crew and leadership What We’re Looking For • Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team (crews of 4–5+) • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather, day or night • Able to work at heights (25–100 ft) and on ladders/lifts • Physically capable of lifting and moving up to 50 lbs • Valid driver’s license required • Experience in construction, electrical, or general labor is a strong plus • Experience with aerial lifts (scissor lifts, boom lifts) is a plus • Comfortable using hand and power tools • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus • Must be 18+ with reliable transportation and a smartphone Why Join Us • Competitive pay • Hands-on training provided/ prior construction experience a plus. • Work on large, high-visibility commercial projects • Supportive, team-driven environment • Opportunity to be considered for full-time roles after the season • Performance-based bonus opportunities Work Environment • Outdoor job sites including rooftops, shopping centers, and public spaces/Fast-paced, physically demanding work/Safety-focused environment with required PPE and equipment use. • Work begins September 2026. • Apply today, send your resume to recruiter@st-nicks.com
